STAR WARS C3PO MICKEY CUSTOM

I know that there will be a series made with upcoming vinyls but here is my rendition of one of the beloved droids from Star Wars, C3PO!

I made this with Gold Metalic Paint(so it shines) and used custom acrylic paint for the details such as the wires and eyes, etc..

I'm putting on the finishing touches to it like adding glow in the dark paint for the eyes and it will be done.

Did you spray paint it gold? How did you get that smooth gold look to it? Looks BETTER than the gold chaser! Well done!

Thanks, I use Krylon Metallic Brilliant Gold Spray Paint about 3 to 4 layers to get a smooth look.

Thanks everyone for all the supportive comments. Fortunately C3PO now has a happy home, thanks to ebay!

The Green Lantern custom is in its finishing stages and I'll have it up a day or two, so stay tuned.
