i was waiting for disney to make a deal similar to this because they need to find some way to sell the rest of their vinyls and I know they have so much of the clear series still.

I took advantage of this "deal"....but doesn't look like much of a deal. What you're getting off is quickly made up for in shipping. I bought two Urban 2's and got two Clear's for 50% off....but still had to pay almost $7 shipping. All in all, my total was $19 and some change for 4 figures! :( Didn't save me any money.

Yeah I agree with you, I was gonna do it, but once you put in shipping and sales tax, it's not that great of a deal.

I really dig the holiday series but not too keen on the clears. If they were doing a buy 2 get 1 1/2 off for -any- VMs, I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

I just got some (early xmas present) got an orange clear and the clear chaser. Ordered one holiday and an urban (they sent me a park3...they seem to have a problem sending the wrong ones)

so they're sending me the right one and to donate the other one.

yup thats exactly what happened to me too...

i actually saved a good bit of money with the deal, i hadnt made any kind of large purchase of vinyls before and i did want to get some of the holiday and urban ones so i ordered 3 holiday, 3 urban and got 6 clears...which meant i save like $30 and because i ordered that many i got free shipping... i was never really a fan of the clears but after actually getting them i find they are cooler than i thought they would be...

Same here. I thought they were stupid at first, but once I got one I really liked them. I think I have 6 so far.

Well I wanted to take advantage of this deal so I ordered 6 of the Park 3's and 6 Clears....enough to get free shipping. I got my order yesterday...Instead of the 6 Park 3 Vinylmations, I only got 4 Park 3's and I got 2 Snowglobes of the WDW Castle....huh??? The Snowglobes have the sticker that says Park 3 Vinyls, but they're obviously not. Haha....strange. I emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.

That's strange. Did you look on-line to see how much those snoglobes go for? I think they're usually pretty expensive, you may have gotten a really good deal. :lol:

I did actually. They go for $42.95. It's item number 400151704015P. It would be a pretty good deal if I collected snowglobes :lol: I guess I could give them as gifts...Hmmmm. Haha, no, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't email them at least and tell them what happened. If they tell me to go ahead and keep it that's a different story. But I really just want my other 2 Park 3's!! LOL just please no more America Sings:doh: :lol:

This is a really tempting deal! I don't really like the Clears, but I need some Park 3's, and at 50% off, the Clears may be too good to pass up! But then again, I didn't really like them until they were 50% off... so do I really like them now, or just the sale...? :lol:

I took advantage just because they were so cheap. I had traded for a couple previously, and now I have the clear chaser so I figured what the heck, I was going to order my Park 3's anyway so I added a couple on there. My problem is that now I have about half of the set including the chaser.....my "completist" self will end up looking for the rest I am afraid!! I am running out of room!!! Anyway, I ordered some other stuff too, a couple of monster mickey's for the kids, got the free ornament.....they didn't mess anything up on my order though! It sounds like I am in the minority here on that one!

Haha yeah I know. I was thinking that since they keep messing up that maybe I would order some and get my order messed up, but then I thought the same thing, with my luck everything would be fine, and I would probably get all doubles lol

Well I had already emailed them so I just decided to give them some time and wait and see. They sent me an email back tonight saying they were sorry for the mix up and they'd get my 2 Park 3's out to me right away. Nothing at all about returing the snowglobes:-X Disneystore.com has always had first class customer service any time I've had to deal with them. :clap:

Well they emailed me to say they were sending my replacement Park 3's. They didn't say anything about sending the snowglobes back. Not even a mention. I explained the whole situation to them, that I got snowglobes rather than Vinylmations and I asked what they would like me to do....I'm assuming they don't want these back:shrug:
It is pretty random though lol. They had a correct 'stock sticker' on the snowglobes the sticker said it was a Park 3 vinyl. It would make more sense if I had a lot of different things on the order, but it was just 6 Park 3's and 6 Clears. I'm sure they're going crazy with the Holidays though.

Pretty much they just sort of let you keep their mistakes or ask you to donate them... unfortunatly i just cant see any kids likeing the items that they make mistakes with...
