Wine & Dine Half Marathon

I signed up for the inaugural Wine & Dine half marathon next October. Anyone else? Would be cool if they had a vinyl for this since its an inaugural race. This replaces the Race for the Taste 10K & Tower of Terror 13K.

For the relatively smaller marathons, I do not believe they are planning any vinylmation releases. There are several different ones that take place at WDW through the year but they are only creating vinyls for the official big race. I know they talked about one for the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon which is their big marathon out there. :idea:

Not knowing how many slots they have in mind for the new event, I can't see them really doing a custom vinyl for it. The races it is replacing usually maxed out around 4,000 runners each if they filled which they were having problems doing. The Princess Half Marathon had 11,000 (including 5k runners) and the one in January had 17,000 max last year, plus another 22,000 or so for the full. Doing a 400 LE for 8,000 runners is what, 1 out of 20 buys it? I'm not sure if they are sold on that as thats alot of people that have to buy them. I think the response to the ones for the full marathon will really set the trend. If they are slow sellers, then probably not. If 40,000 people don't sell out a few hundred pieces, I really doubt that 8,000 would.
