We also have a few announcements about upcoming releases for select Disney Store locations. If you are in the cities of Chicago, New York and San Francisco, mark your calendars for September 17. There will be three unique figures released at each of those Disney Store locations.


At the Stockton Street store in San Francisco, California, a limited edition 9-inch figure will be released. Titled "Kaleidoscope Mickey," this figure has an edition size of 1,540 and was designed by Enrique Pita from the Disney Store art team. Here images of the packaging and figure.

The blog posted the wrong picture. The purple one was released and was on sale not long ago for $25. I hope DS fixes this with the new image which based of Lombard Street

I would really like to know where this Lombardo Street is they mention. I have driven down Lombard. I don't know why I hold the VM blog to higher standards. If they don't proof read Vinyls *cough*9" Retro Magic Kingdom Ticket*cough*, why would they proof the blog? :shrug:

I think that might be the Name of the Vinyl in Question. But I'm sure Lombardo is a typo :shrug:

It's kindof funny, but I think of it as cartoonish too, then I look at a lot of the other vinylmations I have and realize... They're Disney characters! I guess I'm just comparing to the other San Francisco exclusives. I will definately get one for my set. Maybe if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll brave the release. That kinda sounds like fun.

I like this one. Although cartoon-y, I can see why a street that winds back and forth to reduce the grade kind of deserves the cartoon treatment. Plus, I like tins.

It is definitely not weird. I am the same way. I always have a fight with myself about special event VM's... if I like them should I get them even if I didn't attend the event... Okay, maybe we are both weird!

I'm that way too, on occasion, but make exceptions for these adorable city ones! :love: I guess I am more this way with event Vinylmations. For example, even though I'm a runner, I wouldn't allow myself to get an event-specific marathon Vinylmation if I didn't actually run that race.

8am Opening...some people were there at 1am.

I was there around 6am & I was the ~70th person waiting in line.
