I just tried it, the promo code doesn't work on vinyls. The fine print states disney parks merchandise isn't eligible.

Yeah, unfortunately it doesn't work for most of the items I want.

They stopped allowing coupons to work on pins a couple months ago, I think it also excludes "collectibles" which is a wide open definition if you ask me.

Ugh, the coupons on pins thing really irks me. The majority of my pins came from Disney Shopping, because I could use my Disney Visa discount to buy them. Really irks me because they're opening up their discounts in the parks, but tightening them up on their website. STOOOPID!

Well, I got this e-mail, along with the one posted but this one reads as follows:
Important Details:
25% Discount Offer
*Offer begins 12 a.m. EST November 25, 2009. While supplies last. Discount applies only to select holiday merchandise identified as "Disney Parks Authentic." Offer may not be combined with any other offers except for the following offers: 1) gift with purchase offer for Walt Disney World® 2009 Dated Ball Wrap Ornament, 2) Cast Member discount and, 3) any DisneyStore.com shipping offers/promotional codes. Offer valid on phone orders and orders placed online at disneyparks.com/store. Not valid on purchases from Disney Store retail locations, Disney outlet locations, World of Disney® stores or Disney Parks and Resorts merchandise locations. Offer not valid on previous purchases, shipping & handling charges, personalization, gift wrap, gift boxes and items not in stock. Disney Shopping, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or modify this offer at any time. Void where prohibited. Offer subject to change without notice.

When you look at the vinyls on their web site after you select them, it does say:
Disney Park Authentic, but I tried it and it didnt work either =(

One thing I have noticed is that when I try to apply the discount a red banner appears at the top stating that the website is experiencing difficulties, try again later. Maybe it will work but the website is messed up?

Well, plus, the pins are priced higher on the website than in the parks, so 10% barely brings them even. Oh well, I barely buy from DS anymore, at least Im a half hr away from the parks so I can get the vinyls as they come out!

I was bummed when it wouldn't work on the Vinylmation. The free shipping offer does work though if you purchase more than $89.

It's just a really sad trend with coupons in general. All stores keep imposing more and more restrictions on coupon usage.
