Hi everyone,
I just went to Micheal's today and spent $25 on pink and red rhinestones. for my custom mickey! I am done with the head, but not the body yet. I really underestimated the amount of time this was going to take! Good thing I didn't work today hahaha ok so I will be posting pictures soon!

Next time, try putting them on a light-colored clear one ... the jeweled tones look very pretty with the "bling" ....

Maybe some pink or red paint under the rhinestones would help? possibly a glittery or metallic paint?
even just adding some metallic/glittery powdered eyeshadow to paint can help if you cant find a good pink glittery paint, I did for a few ornaments I did for friends a few years back just a little though too much would make it cakey. Or do what I do sometimes for decorating, put a clear or coloured paint and dust the over top when it's almost dry but still a bit tacky with superfine glitter dust, let it dry then clear coat spray overtop so it fixes the dust, then re-add your rhinestones. just a suggestion from experience of wanting a nice look to the gaps between rhinestones ;-)

That's what I was thinking. Some paint as a base coat. I'm not sure anyone could ever get the entire surface covered with rhinestones just because of the different shapes on contours.

It probably gets frustrating trying to put each one on there one at a time. lol
Good job for having the patients to try it!
