So in 2010 my girlfriend bought this water bottle. After putting it in a dishwasher, the thing melted!

Anyways I've searched far and wide, looked for it at the parks and DTD this past summer, nothing! Even more hard to believe, I googled it and can't even find images of it!

I find it weird they kept all the pieces of the "Best of Mickey" Collection except this one water bottle. Anyone know it's whereabouts?

I visit the parks often and I will keep an eye out for you :)

If you are ever back at WDW, try going to the World of Disney at Downtown Disney and asking at the help desk. If they don't have it at the store, they can try and find another store on property that does. It doesn't always work but besides looking in every store yourself, it's your best bet!

Things like that are most likely found in the World of Disney in the Marketplace, Mousegears, Emporium or Mickey's of Hollywood. There's also a shop dedicated to housewares in the marketplace but I don't remember the name

We actually went into every store possible on WDW property, even where we first got it in 2010 at the Yankee Trader.

It's crazy it can't even be searched for on Google! It's like it never existed.

It is possible they pulled them from the shelves if they weren't BPA free back in 2010. I'm not saying this is the case, but it is possible. I had noticed back around 2010 they had a few things that weren't BPA free and I remember being very surprised. I would do what Silvered suggested and next time you're down to ask Guest Relations in DTD :). Or you could try calling the merchandise line to see if they can help.

I haven't seen it as a water bottle, but may I suggest:

Did you try looking online on Amazon and similar sites? You'll probably have to pay a teensy bit more, but they usually have a lot of Disney stuff that has since been discontinued elsewhere.

Oh wow that vinyl looks awesome! Might have to become the replacement.

We found no luck on Amazon. That BPA bit sounds interesting, I thought I remember seeing it was but the girlfriend refutes that claim. Maybe Disney pulled it off shelves and swept all the evidence under the rug!

Just a thought - it's entirely possible that it was pulled because you're not the only one who had the thing fall apart after one wash in hot water. It does seem weird that the rest of the colleciton would be around, except for that part. That could be your answer right there -and if that's the case, it *would* sort of be an "all evidence under the rug" type scenario because you won't find them selling something prone to damage.

Bummer they wouldn't just remake it either BPA free or withstanding to dishwashers especially since the rest of the Best of Mickey collection seems to be selling very well considering its been around for at least 3 years now!

Honestly almost all our kids cups, plates, etc. that have been purchased from the disney store or world are not dishwasher safe :(. I'm not sure why, but I agree they should make them a little stronger.

Just got a bunch of Mickey plates and cups from Target, hope they hold up!
