I noticed this image today.

It is the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. It looks like it is LE1200. No word on pricing. Based on what I see, it looks like an interesting set.

I seen this image on ebay! This looks like a neat set to have , I like it! Using Jr.s for the 3 Little Pigs is a good idea!

I agree using the pigs with juniors is the right choice, and if they continue to use this trend with say snow white being a 3 and 7 jrs with dwarfs it would be a great collections as well

The dwarfs are getting their own junior series this year so it is unlikely that they would then do a Snow White/dwarf combo. However, that being said a 3" Snow White must somehow be released to go with the junior set at some stage!

This is probably the BEST use of Jrs so far! This Big Bad Wolf figure is better than the Villains 2 Big Bad Wolf.

I totally agree Junglecruse. The whole set is awesome and can't wait to add it to my collection.

Very excited for this set. Big Bad Wolf looks awesome and the pigs look good too. Is this only going to be released a D-street?

Love the Bad Wolf and 3 Little Piggies!! But I feel like the price won't be staying at $44.95...Considering how much other combo packs have been...Hopefully it won't be too much, I'd love to add these to my collection.

I am confused why they keep doubling up on characters! We have two Tinkerbells, a bazillion variations of Donald (except a traditional Donald, in just his sailor outfit), Cheshire Cat being release in a combo pack plus the one with the AIW series plus the Furry Friends chaser. Then there is the Runaway Brain Mickey, a bunch of Goofy's and now we are getting a second Big Bad Wolf. I would've much preferred a 3" set of the 3 little pigs with their respective accessories. Just saying...

I agree. My daughter refused an animation 2 Tinkerbell as "it was the same" as her Park 7 Tinkerbell. Though they have differences, I agree that they need to think outside the box a bit. If your going to recycle, recycle some of the popular ideas: Redo Red Balloon as Blue, do more monorails, do duffy (I think I just shot myself over that comment). Anyhoo....

I think this set is just adorable but I may have to wait and pray that it goes on sale before I add it to my collection. I've spent way too much already this month and there are still things being released that I want.

I do prefer this Big Bad Wolf to the one in the Villains set but don't like the $44.95 price tag much!

I was hoping for it to be same price as combo set, might have to wait on it or not get it at all.

I love this set! Unfortunately, I won't be at the parks until the 31st! Do you think I'll be ok to wait or should I make arrangements to have someone get it for me? It's so hard to tell with some of these releases. Especially given that they are fairly popular characters.

Thanks for sharing the photos BrittLee!!!

I'm with Rick on this one, anyone have any insight on how quickly these will sell at the Parks? Not sure if I should make a request for one now or take my chances and see if they are still available in May.

Really hard to tell with these.

The Disney afternoon sets were LE 1,000 at $26.95 and sold out within hours, however these are LE 1,200 at $44.95 - really hard to tell how long they will last - I would have thought a while longer given the price tag but I don't think they will be around a month until you get there in May - jmo thou.

Really hard to tell with these.

I'll second that it's difficult to gauge, but I don't think the days of the Disney Afternoon sets are going to be repeated. That was a perfect firestorm of emerging collectors and eBay resellers after the DuckTales set blew up on the secondary market (it actually lasted the weekend at D-Street). In contrast, the recent Rescuers set was, in my opinion, drastically cuter and in many ways a better representation of the characters, but it has remained for sale at D-Street for weeks - even months - past the release despite having a similar edition size and an equal price.

I think the price tag on these might make some people hesitant, but then we don't know how much interest there might be in the characters.

Has there been anything that Disney released recently that has sold out within a day (trying to see if I should leave school early that day)? The somewhat hefty $44.95 should limit the number of prospective buyers, right?

This is a really cool set but, $44.95? That seems a little high to me.

It wont sell out on the first day - you will be fine to pick it up the next day - the price will have a slowing effect on this set even thou it is very cool!

Is anyone at DLR and able to give me an update on the status of this one? I'm going tomorrow for a pick up for a friend who's not near either parks. Hoping they're not sold out by tomorrow morning :cross:. Only worried bec someone on FB said there's only 15 left at DStreet at DLR.

I was there around 6 and they had about 20 still behind the counter. I picked up a set and they had some left granted that was about 3 hours ago but it's promising! It's 38 and some change with an annual pass discount (premium).

I think I might end up picking up this set just because my mom says it's cute. Usually she refers to my vinyls as "these ugly little things" but at least this set she thought was cute!

I do quite like this set, the concept of having the pigs as jrs is a nice change of pace. Plus the artwork is pretty nice. I spent my vinyl budget already and cannot justify exceeding it for this set :(

Ugh I just saw this thread when I got home and I just walked by D-Street yesterday morning on my way out buying souvenirs for friends and family on my last day at the park(from the Bay Area). I did not know they released this set. Oh well. I hope this lasts until next week when my friend visits the park. I may ask her to snag me a set as well as the Malificent and Prince Philip set. My fingers are crossed.

Still in stock at DLR D-Street. Had about 30 left behind the counter. Not sure if there was still more in the back.

I got mine today. The Three Little Pigs are cute! The wolf is nice too, but I think I prefer the Villains 2 version. It was hard to find a decent wolf as the paint on the faces was sketchy. I do think this set is overpriced, though. If one 3" vinyl and three Jr. vinyls don't equate to the typical 2-pack price of $26.95, I'd think no more than $34.95 would be justifiable. But I guess it didn't bother me enough to not buy the set. It's especially surprising given that the price of the upcoming AIW 4-pack of 3" vinyls is the same.

Absolutely agree. Just got this set at D Street - annual pass discount made the price a little more acceptable - nice set.

I also find that the price is a bit high but it's a nice set.
We had it released without warning in DLP about a week ago and I was just there on that day and noticed it was in the shop so I grabbed one.... I was very lucky because the allocation for DLP was about 35 and they were gone in 2-3 days I was told.
I reallt like the set and the Wolf is really nicely done...
It's just too bad we still don't have the Animation 2 series yet...but I heard it will be very very soon....

Love the Pigs but would have liked them to be 3"
