You could try to hijack the Dolphin Mall's pin-trading event with vinylmation traders...I know they don't really do vinylmation trading at the events at our outlet, but honestly, that's probably because there are so few collectors in the area. I'm sure the east coast has enough people to support a regular event.

LOL. Yea, sounds good. If there's an issue with the store, there's space right outside of the store and some couches, I believe. Keep me updated :-)

I've heard from the CMs that there are other collectors around. I always wondered where they are, lol. I only have vinyls, and I didn't get a chance to be a part of the beta testing for the Sorcerers of MK game when we went up there. I'd love to them, though. :-)

Hey congratulations on the pull ( whichever LK character it might have been XD). I think we have a good thread here started and we have found several S.Floridians to respond to it. Now, the only issue is to find more, yet as the old saying goes Good things come to those who wait. I am certain given more time and pursuit we shall find a great deal of S.Floridians who love Vinylmation and would like to celebrate and participate in a community who enjoys it as well. d(^_^d )

Update:

The very nice CMs, at the Disney Store in the Miami International Mall, just relayed to me that although they are eager to see this happen, they still haven't received word from the District Manager concerning if this is or isn't allowed. Yet, they do think its a great idea and even if we aren't official they did point out that there is an open area right in front of the store we could still have our VinylNation/Disney Meet/Greet/Trade . :)

I will keep you posted with any other updates.

It was an awesome meeting and really demonstrates the kindness of the Vinylmation community. Thats probably the best reason to get into collecting these vinyls.


I will admit my collection was lack luster compared to the others... but one day I will get there. :) So have faith in me.

Inorder to be a somewhat unofficial "official" group we should probably stick to a strict schedule that people can follow, yet with that being said I can't argue against the desire to meetup with other locales to trade. It was fun when I did it. d(^_^d )
Be that as it may, I am going to stick to the agreed upon scheduled and won't make any plans to change it. But should someone else like to set up a in-between meetup just post it up and see what peeps you can pull. I support the meetup... maybe even show up. :P

We could probably discuss with everyone at the next meet-up what should be the amount of time between the events based on how many people go. I think that as the amount of traders going to the trading event grows, we may be able to have the events more often because of the diversity of traders and vinyls altogether. So let's make sure to get the word out to all the local South Florida traders :-)

Trust you, me. After my first ecnounter with these guys, if they bring only half, half of everything they had brought, they still would have some pretty amazing vinyls. Any trader won't be disappointed.

Last time we had a meet up only two of us showed up! Lol

Although there is no amount of apologizing I could do for not showing up, I will continue to do so. I do apologize. I had family business come up and wasn't able to go.
Now, I would like to do a meet up with my S. Florida Vinyl family, hence the reason I am trying to get people to agree on a date/time to meet. :)

No worries kingdom gnome no need to apologize! I think we all understand we all have stuff to do and things that become more important than vinyl trading haha! It's forgiven and forgotten!
But I guess what I was trying to express was that maybe we should wait to solidify a date until we guarantee a better showing ( more than just 3 of us)
