Anyone that walks down Main Street, U.S.A. steps back in time. With the Omnibus, Fire Engine, and Horse-Drawn Streetcar you get a look at past forms of transportation. If you venture around you will find a past form of entertainment, the mutoscope, that is the inspiration for the Penny Machine Vinylmation. This figure was released with Park Series 2 on May 22, 2009. What is a mutoscope and where can you find them?

Lintman, love the article! The background research you for the design and the story behind is so impressive! I absolutely love Penny Arcade for the reasons you brought out in your article too:


This design is an incredible example of translating a design onto the Mickey canvas and truly representing the subject without simply recreating it


It was one of those designs I really underestimated at first, and soon found myself quickly trying to find one as my collection didn't seem complete without it :love:
