Star Wars: The Old Republic

Anyone else had a chance to play? I finally got in the last weekend test and am really looking forward to the next. There are some oddities in the way it plays but overall I'm pretty happy with it and look forward to buying it when it comes out. Considered a pre-order to get in early but honestly I'm not gonna have much time to play leading up to Christmas anyway. After Christmas, though, it's on! :D

I don't usually do betas nor do I do MMORPGs but this is one I have to get because it's friggen star wars. I can't wait for this game to come out. I haven't decided on whether or not I want to preorder it at a place like best buy or wait to see if it comes out on Steam

Sadly it's probably not gonna be on steam until Valve and EA work out their issues with delivering content beyond the initial purchase of the game and I have my doubts about that happening. :(

I guess I don't really see the appeal of playing an MMO on Xbox... Though I guess people do as FFXI is still kicking.

Hopefully I get my early access invite tomorrow! I was listening to the game's soundtrack on their page on Facebook and it alone makes the game seem worth it!!!

I was originally going to get this but had no knowledge of MMOs so didn't know there was a monthly fee. This GREATLY upsets me because the money part is over ruling my love for Star Wars and my anticipation for this game for many years :(. Sadly I'm going to have to pass even though it pains me to say so. Skyrim it is then!

How is this game so far in MMO? I loved the Knights of the Old Republic series when it was on console platforms. My only rule with video games is that it must have an ending, so I've never played WOW or any other MMO in fear that I would get extremely addicted.

Just got the game and its freaking sweet the graphics are on par and it takes all the great things from wow and makes them better. One word: AWESOME

I really want to give this game a try. For anybody who's played WoW, how does it match up? Does it have any sort of PVE system like the dungeons and raids or is more focused on single player questing and world pvp? If you played WoW how do you like TOR? I'll most likely get this game when I pick up a new desktop for diablo 3 because I don't want to risk running my fans too high on my MacBook again :p

I didn't go that far with wow but I think this is a better mmo like its not frustrating like wow idk I really like it more and on top its Star Wars!

Been playing since release and I still love the game! Population has decreased but oh how I love Star Wars!
