New Toy Story Figures at Disney Store

So I was at Disney Store the other night and noticed some new toy sTory figures. There were 2 different "series" I guess. Each had 6 figures in the series and each also came with a piece to build another figures(like the marvel legends for anyone familiar with them). One set build Sparks and the other built the sad clown from TS 3(don't remember his name). they actually looked pretty cool, but $13 kinda made me shy away. I'll prbably get Zurg tho just cause he looked cool.

I really like the Zurg...I'll probably pull the trigger on that one next time I'm there.

I wouldn't hold my breath...I know when Toy Biz and Hasbro did this in the Marvel Legends they did it cause the character you were building more than likely wouldn't sell by itself, plus it enticed people to buy the whole series, which is probably the case here. I don't own a single Toy Story figure, but like I said Imay buy Zurg just cause I like him and put him next to my Lego Zurg.

Very true. Love his voice, he's voiced by the same guy as Eeyore from the new Winnie the Pooh (although I don't really like his Eeyore voice). Great character :)

They have been available for a bit now - at least a month. For those considering purchasing them they usually have a promotional price of 2 for $20 (but you need to buy 2, to get that price; 1 is full price). I haven't seen the completed figures. My kids already have the previous style of these figures so we won't be buying them just to build another character.

Check on ebay. People were selling the build-a-figure for the marvel and DC figures there.

I saw these figures when we were in San Fransisco, I really wanted Chuckles but couldn't justify paying out for all the other figures just to make him whole.
They should definitely bring out more Chuckles merchandise.

I'm going to hold out since this gives me hope that I will find him on his own instead of as part of a set :cross:
