I recently bought an unopened Animation Vinylmation box on EBay from a seller in Hong Kong. I have read a lot about scrappers coming from China so I was worried about bidding on it. I figured that since it was an unopened box I would be safe. When I received my item, the box appeared to look the same (minus the chinese writing) and the vinyl and card was in its foil. The only thing that was different was that the vinyl from Hong Kong was missing a serial number on the foot stamp and instead had a "OD" stamped on it. Does anybody know if this is normal for vinyls from Hong Kong?

And what is the eBay sellers name?

If the seller is mentioned in this thread then you bought a scrapper. If not then the seller could be a new scrapper seller and will be added to the list or the member bought it from another scrapper or it's legit....... But the fact that the serial # is missing and is replaced with "OD" leads me to believe it's a scrapper made to look like it's real hence why it came with a box, foil and card.

mickey20072007 is a legit seller. In the future, please do a search because this seller has been discussed quite a bit around here before.
