We probably won't be going out there until later this week though. Supposed to be some bad weather rolling through this area around 5:00pm. Thats okay though... I'm not really in a rush. Its the same thing every freaking year anyway. :lol:

Remember when the lights used to be on Backlot and you'd ride through on the tram looking at them? I miss that. :cry:

And HT_NSU you can bet we'll take pictures when we go. I'll try to get some video too although I dread uploading it. For some reason it took over an hour to upload that 3 minute Luxo one! :doh:

I have a Nikon D60 camera, but a f/1.8 lens which is really what helps out a lot.

I have been twice this week and its very pretty! It really gets you in the mood for the holidays. It kind of reminds me of the fountains at the Bellagio in Vegas....meaning that it is all choreographed so well to the music.

The Spectacle was amazing again this year. It gets better each time. I was able to make it on Jan 4th for the last night. It had an authentic Christmas feel since it was so cold out!

We were there over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. It's kind of funny, when I first saw it a couple of years ago, I didn't "get" it. Thought it was cheesy, reminded me of a neighborhood in Edgebrook, IL (near Chicago) we used to drive through as kids with our folks en route to Grandma's.

It really started to change for me last year and now I just love it. Maybe because it does remind me of those Christmases as a kid. We love this park and I love the Osborne Family lights.

Even got the Vinylmation for it too.

I saw them 2 weeks ago and was wondering if anyone else liked them . They do appear brighter but did not like the we they made you enter to go see them. It made it more congested and couldn't get the full effect of the lights. they also had them dancing every five min.

Lights were fantastic this year, it gets better each time. I loved the dancing lights fully coordinated to music!

I've never seen the lights before this year and I was so stunned by them I just wandered around with my mouth hanging open! xD I went twice and I loved it both times.

Finally saw this for the first time back at the beginning of January. Simply incredible. I took about a million pictures on my phone and didn't want to leave.
