According to the blog on the Official Pin Trading website, Saturday was the 1 year anniversary of the debut of vinylmation. (Not counting the pins debut earlier that summer.) It's under the November 7 blog posting.

That's funny, because Park 1 didn't release til 12/19 (I'm bitter as it was the DAY AFTER we left WDW) - I'm sure if we had been there for the release we would have bought & become addicted to them earlier. LOL!!!

I know what you mean. We were there right after Thanksgiving and the only thing out was the blank vinyl. We knew Park 1 would be coming out soon, but since it was after we left we didn't pay much attention to it. We thought it was cool, but since we couldn't buy any then...

Fast forward to June and they're up to Park 2, we went crazy. We had forgotten about them until we got to the pin event and saw the display for them and we were sold and bought every 9" figure we could find.

It's funny that it was a year ago at the Festival of the Masters when they previewed Vinylmation at the Festival of the Masters showing Park and Urban designs and released the very first vinylmation - the 3" & 9" blanks. How time flies!!

Where was I? They've been out a year and I only discovered them around 3 weeks ago. It sucks living in the UK sometimes...
