I like this series the most! When they teased about series 2 being character based I got really excited then they were realized without any faces just painted blocks of color to reflect each characters "dress" if you will that really disappointed me. I am glad to see characters being released on the JR series. They need to make the JR series more Disney related...Good Luck/Bad Luck and the 1st Series and I think This and That well they just don't do it for me. It's like "Urban Jrs". Hopefully they will do more character based JR series!

That's what I was wondering.... I like all the dwarfs as Juniors, but I wouldn't be too excited about a junior series comprised entirely of Snow White characters. Either they'll leave it at 7 dwarfs, or we'll see what else they fill it up with

Really like the idea of getting the 7 dwarfs this way, mainly because I have always wanted them to be smaller than regular figures - and this works. I wouldn't like any of the "normal-sized" characters to be represented in this Jr. size series. I want a regular size snow white/prince/etc. Keep this smaller size for dwarfs, forest animals, the mirror, poison apple, gems, vultures, etc.

I so agree with this.

I only have a couple of juniors in my possession (and they are attached to either my handbag zip or on my backpack!) but these are so cool. I definitely want to get the seven dwarfs - not so sure about Snow white cos she really needs to be bigger than the dwarfs ie a 3". Also not sure what the rest of the set will be. I don't know whether I will try and blind box these or buy a tray (to split with someone else) - decisions, decisions!!!!!

I like many other members haven't started collecting the mini's yet, but this set is a "DEFINITE MUST". When the release day comes I will have to see is a local from WDW or DL will split a case w/ me. I might try calling the merchandise number and buy a tray. I'm just really excited and concerned w/ all the great releases coming.

Oh, you're probably right, Carol! I couldn't judge by the photo the depth of the case, and I'm not much into the Jr's so I don't have much knowledge of them prior...lol! But i agree with many others, I may have to grab some of these because they look great!

You're not crazy I heard/saw that too somewhere. JT and I asked our one of our stores and they said they never heard about getting these. They did know about Urban 9, but not the Jrs :(.

:look: That was probably my fault. A local mall told me that they were getting these in store. I didn't have that confirmed by any other store and the general consensus was that the local mall I talked to probably misread their info.

That's the store that told me they were getting them. I don't think the stores are getting them at all. I think what they were reading probably just said that they would be available online :shrug:

I don't know about this set in particular but I have a Good Luck/Bad Luck key chain and the keychain element screws out pretty easily. There would be a hole on top obviously.

Be careful. It was a Junior that got me into so much trouble with this hobby. The first figure we ever bought was one of the occupations and my thought was pretty much meh... We got back to the hotel room and opened it and that's when we discovered that there was this addorable little junior in the box also. From that point on we were hooked. That was 3 months ago and I have well over 200 Jr's now. My case of Snow White should be here in less than 2 days.

I bought 7 boxes when I was at Disneyland last week and got Bashful, 2x Grumpy, Evil Queen, Sleepy, Old Hag, and Plain Clothes Snow White. Then I got two more boxes from DS.com and both of them had Bashful in them. Overall though I really like this set and enjoy having extras to put on my key chain and not have to worry about them getting messed up as there "doubles."

I was in my local DS last night and the CM brought these out for me to see. It's pretty exciting that the Disney Stores are going to release them! The deer is a bit creepy, in my opinion, because the eyes look quite alien like :lol: Everything else seems really cute though :)

That's exciting. For some strange reason I actually like this series. I don't like too many Jr series but the detail on these are so fantastic

I too was happy to see the only Disney Store in Connecticut had these Jrs.! They really do look great in person, and I may end up having to buy a couple when finances allow me to :)

I went to the mall on Monday and the CMs know me there so they knew exactly what I wanted. I bought 6 at first and got 0 doubles and was pretty stoaked and decided to go back later in the day to find that the box had still only the 6 missing I picked out earlier and so I went ahead and bought 6 more and STILL got no doubles but included a chaser. I was so happy and the CM even said to me, "why don't you just buy the whole case already? You're almost half way there already.... haha" I said no no I'll take my chances in the 12 I bought and did amazingly well but I'm done buying because I'll buy 6 more and get all 6 doubles so that won't be fun. I went back to the mall yesterday for other stuff and the box still only had the 12 missing that I picked. I wonder if no one wants them or they just didn't get enough publicity as being released in DS's

This may a dumb question and I might be missing some something from Disney history here, but why are Snow Whites eyes red on both the regular figure and the chaser?

I wouldn't call them red as much as I would say they are burnt sienna. :lol: Snow White has brown eyes in the movie, I think they wanted to differentiate from the black eyes of the dwarves and it just came out a more reddish brown.

I went to my local Disney Store a few days ago to pick up the Light-Up set. I wasn't counting on them having Snow White there as they never have any of the Jrs. Anyways, I picked three up, and pulled Evil Queen, Raccoon, and Turtle. No dwarfs yet.:shrug:

Apparently these are going to be released in the UK... this is the first time juniors have been released over here... read somewhere (might have been Disneyclaire) say that staff in one of the stores said they had some out the back.

Love this set mostly because of the dwarves. I want to pull one of the happy small fellows, but I honestly don't want any of the other characters (perhaps Snow White), and so many of the stores shuffle their cases that I wouldn't want to take a chance using a placement method.

Is there a good trading community for Jrs? or is it pretty much take what you get?

Once you reach your 50 posts and receive access to our trading and selling forums you will see that there are members who do trade the Jrs.

This set is the reason I've really got into Vinylmations as of late! Still no Snow :( I do have Dopey, turtle, deer, Prince Charming, Doc and Bashful (x2). Finances won't let me buy a case (even though I really want to) Wish Disney would allow trading of the 1 1/2 figures.

Both WDW D-Street and the Magic Kingdom have Jr trade boxes, and we've heard hints that the Monorails may get a clear box, similar to what Park Starz had. I guess I always just figured DLR D-Street would have a Jr box, too. :shrug:

In addition, I've gone 3 times in the past week and every time I walk by D-Street at first and the trading "is not going at that time". Trading at DLR is not the best right now!

I've been to D-Street at WDW and the four times I've traded, I ended up getting the more-rubbish vinyls in return for my decent ones which really annoyed me so I would not say I had a good vinylmation trading experience overall at WDW as I've tried elsewhere and once again, rubbish vinyls and I wasn't allowed mine back.


I want these out in the UK now. We're off to London Friday so im really hoping I can grab some of these in person

Snow White's one of my fav movies..so now I'm thinking about getting into the Jr.:doh: Just what I need since I just recently got into the 3" stuff...but think I might buy one.
My mom bought one last night and got Bashful. I am hoping once I get 50 posts I can find someone with a dopey to get for her...she used to work at Disney and was "very close" friends with dopey;) hehe so hopefully I can find one...Not sure which one I want for myself yet.
Wish I caught the series 2 before they retired this year.

The Jr series are hard to predict. In general, I'd say they all get close to the year mark. Jr 2 maybe went a little faster, and Jr 3 lingered a bit longer, but a year is probably a safe way to think about it. :thumbsup:

D-Street has a clear box of Jr traders behind the counter; you have to ask for it specifically. :thumbsup:

MK technically has two Jr trading locations, but only one is always available. Frontier Traders has a small glass lantern next to the "vinyl jail" clear box (I'll see if I have a pic) that usually has four or five Jrs. That's always out. If you happen to catch the daily mystery trading time in the Emporium, they'll also have Jrs for trade, but those will only be out while the mystery box is, which is usually about an hour, if that.

I was in a hurry yesterday when I was in frontierland but I went quickly through a gift shop to see if they had a mystery or clear box and I saw in the back there was a case of the 3"…I was in a hurry to meet up with my party so didn’t get a chance to see the store name or really look at it…but I could have swore it was like a bird cage or something and I really want to say it was purple but it def. had some in it..Probably like 7 of them. I really couldn’t see it well around the guy working the counter and the checkout line but it def. looked neat…wish I wasn’t in such a hurry so I could have really paid attention to it..but it def. sounds like it might have been the frontier trades.

I hope I catch the mystery time next time I’m there…I believe a CM told me yesterday about a time on mainstreet the mystery box is out..at the time it made no sense to me but that must have been what she meant…hm..will keep my eye out next time:clap:

Thanks DisneyFan... I feel so stupid. :doh: At least my hubby got Luke for it... Snow White is my favorite! I'm thinking I may have to buy the set on ebay (or here once I get 50 posts) I have terrible luck with blind boxes. My favorite place to trade in the park is at Star Traders (next to Space Mountain) they always have a lot to choose from and they keep them in a toy Star Tours ship. :)

I put juniors on the zipper pulls on my backpacks / purses / bags - great way to disneypersonalise everything!

Just make sure you super glue in the screw first cos they tend to unwind!

I've done 10 blind boxes and no doubles! Got dopey, doc, bashful, blue bird, deer, huntsman, snow white, evil queen, magic mirror, and pulled the chaser of the old hag! Also on one of my trips I got the last blind box and got to keep the big display box as well lol I love the artwork on the box!!

Great advise about onnly one key on the key ring wit ha Jr. I have been trying to decide how e'd display our collection. I was actually thinking of taking the rings off and using tree hooks to display them on the Christmas tree.

I also, find it interesting what characters people are seraching for and how there's always one design that is so hard to find. For me it's Dopey; I want ALL seven dwarfs and he's the only one left (Well that and the chasers, but I 'm not going to worry if I don't get them. :lol:)

Congrats on your great blind boxing experiences, Barbie! :happy: I love that this series is in our local disney store - I need to try my hand at getting the Magic Mirror and Plain Clothes Snow White. A few animals would fit well in my collection too as I have a little "at the park" setup.( I really need to update my collection pics :lol:)
