Question about blanks

I wasnt really sure where to put this exactly. Either here or in the create your own.

Have they stopped making the blanks or are they solely going to be available in the parks? I dont really see any on the disney store online. There are only 4 - 3" blanks and like 9 - 9" blanks left on amazon. So yeah thats my question

Yes, they pretty much phased it out. Whenever its up on DS.com, its usually on sale but goes very quickly. I've seen a few at Parks but its like $39.99 for one if I remember right. I don't know if they're going to make new blanks based on the new mold (they've only just released designs for a new 9" mold).

Thats the million dollar question, whats going on with the blanks? This has happened many times in the past when blanks have run short. I recall once for a few months that 3" whites were no where to be found. But the whole "New Mould" 9" plays a huge factor now. There is other factors in play here also, lots of new CYO artists now, I remember when there was only a hand full of hardcore artists. Now there is a bunch. Im even running low and I had a room full at one point .

I think a few of the outlet stores have them. Only 9" and only strange colors.

I've seen pink and black 9" blanks at outlet stores also. They were in Delaware, on sale for $19.99. I hope they don't phase them out, they're a great medium to work with!

Yeah it just kinda stinks. Whatever blank ones are left are pretty expensive. Im not sure how recently the new mold came out, but that would have been my guess, is there they're phasing out the old for the new... hopefully. -Fingers crossed-

Even DLR has been running low, only Dstreet and world of disney have any this past few weeks, I did ask one of the CM's in Dstreet if there were any purples and he confirmed that they have been phased out and no more would be made of that colour, and that pink is the next to go. I know this is just one or two CM's in Dstreet that have said this but the one guy has been pretty much spot on with info (like when the white 3" went sparse just before the packaging change from closed boxes to window).

Last time we went to DLR, they only had black and glows on the shelf and white out in the stock room :\

See that just makes me sad. I would definitely like to dabble in trying to decorate my own. Kinda sorta soon. Maybe Disney got tired of people trying to submit their art for some of the series?

I just went to Disneystore.com and the 3" are back in stock for $4.99
they only have black and red.
not sure how long they are going to be in stock.

why are they so cheap online, but pricy in store like d-street?
