Anyone have any Vinyls that are mis marked or missing certain parts of their features that are supposed to be on them? I'm not talking about painted over Toonhole....
Thank you JnDCabrera for this vinyl! LGM is missing his smile.

Interesting. I haven't been fortunate/unfortunate enough (I can't decide which it would be :D) to get an error figure.

So wouldn't it be funny if you posted your figure with 2 of the same arm, for example I have a Snow White with 2 right arms .... and there is someone out there with a Snow White with 2 left arms .... and if that person should happen to read this, we could send each other the wrong arm and make our figures as they were intended?
Hmmmmm .... or should I keep the 2-right-armed-Snow, just for the novelty of it?

That would be hard to prove it came like that considering you can pull apart the arms... so trading the arms would make for a GREAT story to go along with your vinyl.

Well, Smitty, you make a good point. .... now I'm motivated more than ever to find the 2-left-armed-Snow figure because I really, truly just pulled it out of the foil with 2 right arms! And with your excellent point about being able to dismember the figures and all, I guess it is not a novelty at all to have this kind of error figure.

So in the zillion to one chance that anyone out there has two left arms let me know!!

So today I tried to return my Snow White with 2 right arms, and the manager said no can do. She said it is because of the blind box ... she would have no way of knowing if the one I get next is another Snow.
I also have a Carnataurus with a Rizzo artist card ... she would not exchange that one either.
But ... great news! I was able to switch out my damaged Test Track (decal on the back messed up when I removed it from the box) .... I was so surprised they had another Test Track to exchange with me. But ..... it was not on display ..... the manager brought it from the back (after keeping me waiting what seemed like an eternity!)

at least you were able to get the Test Track and I'm assuming that it wasn't damaged at the back?

So...did we ever decide if Vinylmation errors would be of great value? I just bought an E Coupon off eBay and the bottom of his foot says "Limited Edition 150 Made" when it's supposed to say "Limited Edition 400 made." I would love to hear I bought it for $70 and now it's worth thousands of dollars. :D

I have two 9 inch figures with two right arms, and a couple 3 inch figures with the same arms. Seems like the double arms are a common error.

At first, I was shocked to hear that Disney won't replace a defective Vinylmation. I can understand not taking back ones you don't like but something that isn't a full quality product is something totally different.
Then I got to thinking...if I ever find myself opening a box with some random reject Vinylmation, I'd most likely hold onto him as special and important to me. Yeah, sort of silly but its little difference wouldn't be a common thing, making mine a little more special. I have yet to find one with a defect but with the amount of these things I've been getting, I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen in the future, haha. However, I am sorry to hear those who have a chaser with defects. That would be the one time I'd be bummed out. It's easy to replace any of them and get a duplicate...unless it be a chaser.

I have a really big problem... I just bought 2 Animation 1 vinyls and didn't open them until I got home only to find BOTH had wrong arms. The Fawn had 2 left arms and the Quasimoto had Alice in Wonderland's arm for his right arm. This is totally unacceptable!!! Can you please tell me where I can call to complain and be reimbursed? I have close to 500 vinylmations and this has never happened to me before. For it to happen to two in the same series is really bad. This could be the end of my collecting if I have to go through this HUGE hassel every time I buy a few vinylmations. I bought them both at the Disney Showcase on Main Street in Disneyland.

I would ring the store you bought them from and let them know i am sure they would change them over especially with the receipt.
i have a vinyl with he same problem but i kept him and class him as a very limited edition vinyl. he is very special.
i think i need to open a home for special vinyls and anyone that has these unwanted and marked vinyls can send them to Aus. Anytakers:lol::happy:

Maybe I shouldn't be angry, but to me it's terrible quality control. They should at least let you exchange them when this happens. Here's a better pic of my 2 misfits. :nono:

So they will not let you exchange them so that because of them being blind boxed
but looking at Quasimoto Alice's arm does look good on him. seems to match his look.As you say there is por quallity control but with so many being made these mistakes i suppose will slip through.
but if the store will not exchange ask for the manager.
and please do not let this put you off collecting

In a strange kind of way I think the "misfit" vinyls are special. Would I be a little irritated if i paid a lot of money for it and there was something wrong with it? Probably. But if it was just regular price (ten or twelve bucks) I would probably keep it and feel like I got something unique. I'm sure the store you got it from would switch it for you though if that's what you still want to do.

I would think a legit errored vinyl would be like a coin pressed wrong or a stamp printed wrong. When the series is no longer available it may go up in value.

Yeah some of these errors are kinda silly. If it's a printing error then it's going to be a collectable issue, but when it's the wrong arm off of another character, there's no value to it. Just.. well, the figure LOSES its value.

I didn't catch it at fist either. I'm like whats wrong? OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, now i see! LOL I haven't ran into any faults on any of my vinyls as of yet. Well I take that back. When i bought the bird and tree set the egg and worm were armless but i immediately drove back and exchanged with no problem. If it had been a design or paint issue, I might consider keeping it. Look at what coins and stamps are worth when they are first released faulted.

I apologize if this is the incorrect place to bring this up, but what is going on with the White Rabbit's ears being backwards. I recently received the White Rabbit as a gift and thought the ears being backwards was just a painting/printing error, but when i looked at the package and online I noticed all images of the White Rabbit had the ears backwards. Any idea what happened here?
