Just back from Disney World, my observations

Just wanted to share what I observed regarding vinylmations from my recent trip to WDW.
Most locations had Park 2, Urban 2 and all locations had plenty of clear 1. Many unopened cases and singles were on the display floor for each series. Stuffed vinyls at WOD, 4 different styles. I did NOT see any Holiday, single or cases anywhere! Also, I did see candy corn for sale at a handful of locations and about 15 - 20 tins were on display.

Just wanted to share what I had observed. For my trip, I was bummed that the cutesters were delayed and that the Food and wine never was released this year. I did pick up a candy corn.

If you go to the Pin Trader store at Downtown Disney, inside the acrylic cases you will see the Holiday 1 set.... behind them inside the acrylic case you will see 3 blind boxes unopened with stickers on them.... I tried to get the lady to sell me those 3 boxes but she said no. lol

I was there and must have missed them! I would have also asked, you never know they may sell them, if you get the right cast member! I was kind of surprised that the Holiday set was getting hard to find in the park (WDW), at least during my recent visit.

Makes me glad I have all of my 9" Holidays already. Still missing one 3" though.

All the stores are reporting Holiday Series 1 3" vinyls to be re-released in stores mid november.

Lady at Downtown Disney in the Art store said they are getting more Holiday ones mid Nov!!!!

Just an FYI, the display cases are set up by the Visual Display department. Usually the items in the case are samples or in the case of boxes, empty ones that they got to put in there, so that is why they wouldn't sell them. Also, when you see the merchandise in displays in the locations, a lot of times they also will not sell the items as they can be damaged or altered in a way to be put on display.

I can definately see that being the case. Although it's worth a try to pick up the box and maybe HOPEFULLY it's sealed with a nice vinyl inside it waiting to go home with me!

I'll second the observations that began this post. I was also there this weekend and generally observed the same thing.

To add to that, as far as pins go, there were pretty much a good stock of Park 2's in all locations, however I only found 2 boxes total of Urbans and only a handful of Park 3's. I ended up getting no Park 3 doubles, which was great!:clap:

Let's get straight to the clarification. I believe it has been stated in the Holiday thread, but it has been discussed and we did receive confirmation that there are more Holiday Series 1 coming. Now, it is NOT a re-release, but the remainder of the order. Only half of the order was received and sold out quickly as initial demand for this series was not expected to be that high. Because the order was rushed to make it so they would be in stock for a release around the D23 Expo, the full order could not be fulfilled at the same time.

So, again, it is NOT a re-release, but just the rest of the order. "Re-release" was just a poor choice of words.:bonk::bonk:

Now back to our calm and cool and collected vinylmation program that is currently in progres.....:cool::cool::cool:

And also, this is not the first time an order was received in two shipments, it happend with Park 1 - part in December, the other half in late January.

I just wanted to make sure that it was a poor choice of words. I know all about the back orders and such but the way Smitty put it w/ the dreaded word "RE-RELEASE", I just wanted to makre sure. I get all jumpy when I hear "re-release" because that's what drew me away from collecting comic books way back then.
Plus, I'm just not to happy w/ Disney as of late so I get a little jumpy, lol. But not to worry, I'm calm :cool::cool::cool:, for now, like Hades.
