I WISH HT! Unfortunately they would never close HM for all the time it takes to do the overlay. Look how long it took for the them to do a decent refurb on it that closed it for months!

i love how they change the story to the mansion around this time of year. they tie the nightmare before christmas in very well with the stretching room.

This overlay is awesome. We were there for the first 2 years (2001 & 2002) of the overlay. We made our ressies through the WDTC and when we got our packets with the parkhoppers and hotel info there were these little presents (ornaments) in them:

One of my favorite things about HMHoliday is in the queue they have Chrismas Carols sung by Lock, Stock, and Barrel.

I like what they have done with it for the Holiday edition.

Got to ride it back in September just after it opened with the holiday transformation, also was the first time I rode it since the changeover to Nightmare Before Christmas so it was like a 2 in 1.

this was my first time going on Haunted Mansion during the holidays since i was young. I really like the way they decorated it for halloween and for Christmas. they make it look really good.

I totally have to agree, the gingerbread smell the last few years has been an amazing addition! The first year they did the Nightmare overlay, they had songs playing while you waited in line with the lyrics listed as well, I miss that...

I finally got to enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday a few weeks ago and being a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas it was about time... if you know what I mean.
During our entire 3 day stay, we rode it quite a few times (with little or no wait)and noticed something different each time... highly recommend it to everyone!

I was at DLR in December 09' i already miss HM holiday, my gf and i love the way they decorate HM for the holidays PLUS were big fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

oh yeah love that, i get a huge wiff of it right when you pass the table.

i like it but i prefer the original version more. i thing the smell of gingerbread is what i like the most :lol: oh and scary teddy eating the lights. i have a doll of him.
