Archive private messages

I think I put my question in the right place, if not, feel free to move it.

Since some of the PM's I got/send have information I would like to keep, I'm not that keen on deleting them.
But you can only have 50 PM's in the box.
So I moved the biggest part of my incoming PM's to a folder "archive", for my send messages I'm not able to move them to an "archive" folder.
But now I notice that they are still being considered as in my box.

How can I keep those PM's without having to delete them and also get them out of my PM box?
I'm not a great "wizard" on those kind of things :shrug:.

I hope my question is clear, since writing in English is not something I do every day. Thanks for any explanation.

Regardless of the folder it is in, as long as they are on the server it counts as being in your box. There is the option of copying your PMs into a Word or Notepad document.

Thanks Sledge, I didn't think about that.
Meanwhile I've already made a copy of them and removed them from the server.
