Macy's Holiday Parade

This seasonal favorite features authentic floats and balloons (including several brand new ones this year) direct from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City. You’ll also enjoy festive street performers and talented marching bands from around the country, and of course Santa Claus himself. Afterwards stay for a spectacular tree lighting ceremony with music and a dazzling display of lights.

Then stroll around the Whoville Wonky Tree Lot and take in the whimsical Wholiday decorations.

I have never done Universal for the holidays. Have you guys gone, beachgurl? Always wondered about it.

Yeah, I actually enjoy UO at Christmastime too. The Macy's parade is a cute, a lot smaller version of the one in New York sort of.

I really like the Grinch musical, but the only problem is if you're not there like an hour and a half early you might not get a spot to stand. There are only a few benches to sit on. The area they put the show is so tiny that it doesn't hold that many people. The show itself is good though.

I wouldn't plan my trip centered around UO for Christmas though. If you've done Disney at Christmas you might think of it as a little bit of a letdown.
