outside of orlando, does anyone think the busch parks (seaworld fla,ca,tex and busch gardens fla and va) have some of the best theme parks in the country? state your opinion.
i say yes. the busch parks do a amazing of making really feel like you are somewhere else if if either learning about manta rays or walking through a small town in the swiss alps or watch loins roar in play on the african plains. imo the busch parks are the best parks (outside of orlando)

Busch owns some of the cleanest and nicest theme parks in the Business. I was amazed at how clean Sea World is, considering that park is almost as old as Disney and has been through a number of owners. Busch in Williamsburg is one of the most stunning parks ever not even Orlando parks can match the scenery. Busch in Tampa is 50 years old and the park is in great shape the sad part about it is the Ghetto that is outside the front gates.
I noticed that Busch parks seem to hire an older group, similar to Disney.

The Bush Paks are great. The coaster rides at Bush in Tampa are the best collection in the state. I do miss the brewery though. It gave the park a different feel than other parks in the state. The animals at Bush in Tampa also used to be the best collection arround for many years, until Animal Kingdom nocked it out of the water.

that is true but animal kingdom is for all animals over the world BGA is just for Africa(minus those tigers) disney blew busch out of the water with the sarfari i mean rhino rally can't even compete wit it

I have a some pictures of BG Tampa in another thread in this section of the forum. I really like it there but it doesnt compare with Disney Parks.

Living only 30 mins away from Busch Gardens Williamsburg and it being one of the few things to do around the area, I think we've worn out the fun of the park. As kids my brother and I couldn't wait until our parents took us there every year, but now that we're much older, I don't like even taking out of town guests there. I was wondering how people that live in the Orlando area feel about the theme parks around there?

Busch Williamsburg is a great park, I guess you are overloaded. I go to Universal, IOA and Busch 2-3 times a year. If I lived I would go a lot more. Lately I am really liking Sea World a lot more.

Right off the bat Sea World is beautiful. I really think it is a beautifully designed park. I love to sit by the lake and watch the flamingo boats. One day I'll have to actually ride one of them. I'm more of a Busch Gardens Williamsburg fan rather then Tampa. For me Tampa doesn't have enough substance. It feels like it is just coasters and I prefer a few more attractions possibly dark rides. Williamsburg has more of a variety of rides for my tastes.

I do agree with tiredoldspook about Busch Tampa. We went this summer and thought the only thing letting it down were the locals (!). There didn't seem to be any respect there for the place and how brilliant it is. An example, a Guy on the train behind us spent the entire round trip spitting into the hedgerows, ripping leaves off the plants and even threw his cap out into the undergrowth! Why? The atnosphere did feel a bit more threatening that it used to...

i agree with this but to me it seems easier to make dark rides about Europe than it is for Africa i mean there could be one about mummies but that's about it. i also agree with you faithless rock the local dont know what the big fuss but how locals are if they are used to the park its rather sad
