Nightmare before Christmas question

So I just started collecting and wanted to start with the Nightmare set since I love the movie and all things Tim Burton. My questions is this, we only have 1 Disney Store where I live and they are all out of the Pumpkin King and Oogie. The CM's I've spoken with have said they won't be getting any more in stock. I've been looking online and have seen Them both going fro anywhere between 10-35 each.

Soooooo.... I looked online at DS.com this morning and lo and behold they are both in stock now!!! With both of them in my cart and with shipping it came to $29. I have yet to complete the checkout because I got to thinking that maybe these aren't as rare as I thought and just hard to find in my area due to only having one store.

What would you seasoned collectors do? We are going to Disneyland in October, should I wait and see if I can get one there for regular price and save on shipping? Will these be re-released like the Star Wars eventually? I don't know. Help/Advice for a newbie please! lol Thanks!!!

Ive got the whole series. They wont be coming back. I think once they are gone, they are gone. At least the 9's for sure. Buy them while you can.

OK, thanks ironlou!!! It's 31 with tax and shipping. I guess in my mind, I just keep thinking I could get 3 of them at regular price for that much in a store or at the parks.

But without knowing for sure they will be there when you get to the park, you risk them bring gone from there and online by then. I can tell you that those 2 were 2 of the more popular ones from the series. If they are gone when you get there, it is going to cost you more than the $10 you are trying to save by waiting. Plus the aggravation of knowing you could have bought them today!!

You guys are right and I couldn't risk it! Just made the purchase and now just have to wait for the mail!!! :) Thanks for you help and advice. Anyone know how hard it is to land the 9 inchers in this series? :(

You can always check eBay as well. Right now the same guy has 1 Pumpkin King that is ending soon. If you're savvy enough you can get them cheaper off of there.

I saw that and thought about that too, but realized I'd just rather get them both at the same time and from a trusted source without having to worry about 2 separate auctions and everything.

The 9's take time. Once you meet the minimum requirments for trading in here, there are members who sell both at times. I got Oogie fairly easy, Ebay for $85, Jack took me longer but got him in a trade for Fantasmic+ $65.

I agree Oogie is not a hard find, but Jack is a little harder. Not impossible though
