Supposedly the Innoventions in Disneyland will be getting a new theme, thanks to Disney's new Marvel rights!

That would be awesome. I hope they update it and make it a little more intriguing.

When I was a kid I thought innoventions was awesome! Now... Not so much...

I still love innoventions in florida... I use it the same way I use Main Street USA, to move towards the back of the park without having to stand out in the sun in the middle of July. Phew!

I do think this could be awesome looking. Would be cool if they could get Robert Downey Jr. to do voiceovers of some sort.

Well, the links all point to rumors. I know Disney bought the rights to Marvel, but I think it would be out of place. Pixar still falls under the Disney umberlla, but I think Marvel is the odd-child-out. I think they need to make a new attraction, not give a facelift to Innoventions. That can be their new thing of Summer 2013.

I agree, I really don't want to see any Marvel themed rides exhibits in the park. Some merchandise in the store is fine and i do love Marvel but i just wouldn't like it mixed in with anything Disney. If they do end up with a water park in the future they could maybe theme it MARVEL.

I think this would actually be a brilliant way to start incorporating the Marvel characters into the park. Start with what is probably Marvel's most buzzworthy property at the moment, introduce elements slowly. Really, is this any more out of place than when they had the Power Rangers walking around?

I don't think a Stark Expo would be any more "out of place" then Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Twilight Zone. I think it would be kinda cool, actually. A Stark Expo goes with the theme of looking at the future and innovation. I really can't see a Marvel themed attraction anywhere else in Disneyland fitting in as well as this could.

I think SW, Indiana Jones and Twilight Zone have been cemented into the Disney Parks. Not to say that Stark Expo wouldn't but I feel like anything Marvel-related would seem VERY out of place. This is how I feel though. I know that realistically if Innoventions WERE rethemed, it would bring in a lot more people as the Iron Man movie series is fairly recent.

I think it would be strange too, to see Marvel incorporated into the Disney product, I believe they could get away with it in California Adventure as there is less of the disney theme going on in that park.

That's drastically changing though. You have the Little Mermaid Ride opening today, Cars Land next year, and existing attractions being re-themed into Disney themes: Mickey's Fun Wheel, Silly Symphony Swings, Goofy's Sky School, etc. Not to mention the rest of the Pixar attractions.

I still think Stark Expo is an excellent match to update Innoventions. I just think it makes more sense then a "ride" featuring Hulk or the X-Men anywhere else in the parks. A Stark Expo can be classy without being too in your face with Marvel Mania.
If Disney wanted to do a minor facelift to the existing attraction they could do two things:

1. Change the Queue Video to a Stark Video
2. Replace the Tom robot with Tony Stark next to or in an Iron Man suit. (Maybe in the suit but helmet removed)

Then the rest of the attraction can remain pretty much the same or change on their discretion. Keeping the theme on innovation and technology nicely. Tony Stark's Audio Animatronic could even say something along the lines of "I'd like to thank Disneyland for hosting this years Stark Expo in Tomorrow Land. A place where dreaming and looking towards the Future is encouraged everyday to build a great big beautiful tomorrow."

Like what I did there? Funny enough the Stark Expo was modeled after the New York Worlds Fair in the film Iron Man 2. Also, Howard Stark (Tony Stark's Dad) was modeled after Walt Disney in the film.

If there is only one Marvel attraction that would be well suited for Disneyland it would be Stark Expo.

Robert Sherman also wrote the lyrics and composed the song Make Way for Tomorrow Today (http://www.rexblog.com/2010/05/10/20830) for the film. The new song can be heard in it's entirety in the Iron Man 2 credits or listen to it here! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3cJ1onJkig)

That's it. I'm gonna make a poll for this!

Instead of Tony Stark they could do an animatronic of Jarvis, lol.

I hope they revamp it to a Stark Expo theme, the only time I ever been inside Innoventions was to escape from the crowds on New Years.
