Today i caved in and bought 2 holiday 3" figures. I was really hoping for the Ghost Mickey, or any other halloween ones.
I pick a box, I tell my friend to get one also, from a different store.

We both got Ghost Mickey! how weird is that?

Well, there are 3 ghosts per case of 24. So assuming a new case for each selection, that's a 1 in 8 chance for each of the picks. Both people getting a ghost out of just two selections would be (1/8)*(1/8) or 1 in 64. Oh... that was a rhetorical question? Sorry. Yeah, that is weird.

In all seriousness, congrats on blindboxing the one you wanted. That's always a great feeling.

that happens to me all the time! I always have one that I really want, and then I end up getting it, and a couple of times I got 2! We must just be lucky

I know the feeling. I bought 5 Holiday boxes from two different cases and ended up with 3 American Flags. I'm not a big fan of the American Flag design so I was pretty annoyed at the whole thing. I just kept saying to myself "What are the odds?"

I've blind boxed a total of 6 Leprechaun Mickeys on different occassion! Suffice to say I like the figure but I really dread tearing open the foil and seeing black ears and a green hat.

Love to pick the blind boxes. My luck on them is terrible. Hopefully with the cutesters my luck will change. That is one that I am not getting a case. Hopefully we will pull the ones we want. Oh well if not trade, trade, trade!

We were on a cruise last month and we were blind boxing holiday ones just about everyday, if we got a duplicate we traded it with the traders they had behind the counter. But, one day I managed to blind box pick the Valentine chaser. I couldn't believe my luck when I opened the package and saw what it was.

i started blind boxing the holiday set a couple of weeks ago, been going to the WoD store in Manhattan, New York.. the first 4 times i chose i got 4 chasersss.. decided i would have to buy a set of 12 after that.. lol

for park series 2 i kept getting aquaramouse over n over.. then i was down to my last two needed panda n penny took 5 boxes before i got penny then all i needed was panda and the next three boxes were penny arcade n by luck someone needed one n traded me there panda yay

On Saturday, I got my first vinyls. The first one was a park series #2. The CM went on this website and collected vinyls, too, and asked which one I wanted, and I told her aquaramouse or panda, and then I opened it later and it was aquaramouse, which I had wanted the most! Later that day, I got an urban series 2 and candy corn. For urban series, I wanted confetti or chocolate mickey ice cream, and i got chocolate mickey! =)

I've learned if I am trying to get a specific one it is best to just stick with the tray you are pulling from. If the tray is new, then you know they are all good and there. If you pull from different trays you are upping your chances of getting the same ones.

it's so funny, on the days my friend is like c'mon lets go pull Vinyls and I am worried about not getting a good one, i always pull the Chaser. Gold, Pongo, and White Clear. Gold is my favorite, I could survive without the other two, but its nice for bragging. Even better, I desperately wanted Cartoon Mickey (my fave ever) and pulled him without trying. Just Good Luck, I suppose :)

All I wanted between Urban 2 and Holiday was Cosmos and Bat Signal... and pulled both on my first and only attempts :)

Ours was Red Monorail from series 1. We had three of them before we left the parks! We have traded our extra one - so no offers please. Urban Series one was the Pirate - had three of them too! Disney always packs one figure a little heavy (to make up for the Chaser). However, the Mickey Ghost is a great figure - you will have no problem trading him for something else..........

when i first started collecting i got two of the el super ratron from urban 1. there was this little kid also buying them and he was nice enough to trade with me for his checkered. ever since then i haven't stop trading.
