I know there's a Cinderella anniversary Vinyl coming out soon, so why is there no Snow White? Isn't there a DVD that came out today for the anniversary? Why was there no Vinyl for that? I would think Snow White would be more important than Cinderella, because it was the first color full-length animated movie, and the first one made by Walt.

The DVD release was just one of their regular 'disney vault' releases and doesnt coincide with any snow white anniversary

I don't think there was time to put one into production. Plus they already have the Snow White themed one from Park 2. I am only guessing tho...............

Yea, they tend to re-release the more popular movies for a few months and then put them back 'in the value' and then release them again in either 5-10 years with new/upgraded features.

It's really genius if you think about it.

genius, but tough on people who miss out on releases. Like me on fantasia. I know I could ebay it but i just never get around to it.

Disney announced in 2009 that the film will be released in Fall 2010 as a "Diamond Edition" in both Blu-Ray and DVD formats along with Fantasia 2000.

it would have been awesome to have a snow white vinylmation set though...it would be easy to do with all of the dwarfs, and the evil queen as herself and as the old hag!

Yea that is a good idea. Having Snow White as the 9" with the dwarf's all 3" would be so cool.

I think it would be better to just space them out through-out the regular series instead of making another stand-alone set. :shrug:
