As I sit here at work listening to the Fantasmic soundtrack it makes me want to be there right now!
Waking up early, getting in the shower and getting excited. Waking everyone up in the room saying
its time to go play! We all head down to the lobby where its free complimentary breakfast. I cant eat..the butterflies say not right now. Why do I feel like this? I've been here many many times before. We leave the hotel and get that fresh crisp morning air. Ahhhh Im here! As we walk, the kids are running a head of us. Laughing and getting excited. We walk through downtown disney I see things I want. "No you cant already go buy stuff. You are not even in the park yet." I can hear the playful music over head. Almost there.....
As we turn that corner I can see the main entrance. I get the chills again. We are home! Which line to we get in......which line.....damm it.....that family beat us. Of course! We get the one line where they have to stop and search their deep purse to find the tickets. Come on hurry up! I grab a map and the days parade information. Got to start planning. Oh Geez will you find yoru tickets already. I knew I should have stayed in that other line. I hear the whistle of the Disneyland rail road and the ringing of the bell as it pulls into the station. Finally its our turn! I send everyone ahead of me and hand the cast member our tickets. She greets us with a smile and counts us off.......
AHHHHHH We made it. There are a few characters there...already being swarmed. We decide to get our family picture in front of the garden mickey. Of course!! The same family that was in front of us in line are taking forever to get that perfect shot. Our turn! After our picture I can hear that little kid already crying because they are afraid to take a picture with the Mad hatter.....we turn and every time I an entering the tunnel I always read "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.........
