I haven't seen tron and I don't think I would like it. I don't like this set either except for the white shiny one. I don't know why but I think he looks cute with that funny expression on his face. So I think I might get that one just because of it's "cuteness".

So my brother is going down to DLR March 28th and said he would pick these up for me. I'm kinda worried they will be out of stock though, or at least some will be. I know they will eventually re-stock, but I'm tired of waiting! How long do you guys think they will be around before some sell out? Will they even sell out? Will they make it the weekend? -sam flynn(son) is the black figure/blue accent w/ the light blue helmet face
-quorra(beautiful olivia wilde) is the black figure/blue accent w/ her shoulders showing
-clu(bad jeff bridges) is the black figure/yellow accent
-castor aka zuse(guy in club in daft punk scene) is the white/gray vinyl
-jarvis(clu's righthand man) is the one where both sides of his head is visible
-rinzler(the skilled warrior who uses 2 discs in the grid) is the black vinyl w/peach-orange like accents

i read somewhere that these will be $11.95 or so. . :( i'll still be getting them regardless lol

i rly think you'll be okay at anytime on release day. this is an open edition series so there should be plenty to go around, i doubt you'll have trouble getting what you want. maybe certain characters would start to dwindle down after a while, but for the most part you'll be fine, imo of course.

My enthusiasm is likewise dampened from where it would have been had these launched at the same time as the movie. At the very least, they should have been out before the completely inferior (and wildly overpriced) Noah Tron pieces. I actually wonder if these were held back after those limited editions basically flopped, Disney mistakenly thinking that the problem was the Tron brand as opposed to the price/quality.

I'm still interested in them, but I'm not going to rush out to pick any up. :shrug:

The DVDs and Blu-rays for both Tron and Tron Legacy are coming out on April 5th, and the original Tron is finally available on cable - it was recently added to Showtime's programming. :thumbsup:

just got back from dstreet with all of them. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH they are so good! the vintage kevin flynn stokes me. they actually did a really really good job with this set, the paint all looks clean, the boxes are sweet (and actually feel a little sturdier than usual, not much) but i am SUPER happy with this series! nice to have these come out amongst all the (what i consider) pointless and not that interesting releases lately. super happy on these! two custom daft punk ones would look amazing next to these 8.

Hey Sasuke (Also other people wondering as well), I was just at Dstreet DLR (8:30 pm) and they still have everything in stock. When you first enter the shop there is a stand right in front of the door, you can't miss it. There are also shelves full of all the characters behind the check out registers. Sasuke to answer your question specifically I am not sure if they will last until next Thursday, but I wouldn't risk it. There is a steady flow of people buying them for themselves as well as for other people. One girl was buying them for her brother and asked me the names of the characters (since the boxes are not labeled). Good luck everyone!
