are the solid elephants worth more than the clears?

ive noticed on ebay that the solid pink elephants are selling for atleast $20-$30 higher than the clear versions, are the solids more limited or is the demand just higher for the solids?

hmmm interesting I would've thought the clear ones would've been worth more. I own the dark pink and the clear pink elephant I like the clear one better :shrug:

I just pulled a clear purple pink elephant from a blind box tonight.....when I checked it out on the site, noticed there were the 3 different variants and was also wondering which was the more limited of the three. I also seem to think the solid is the more limited in quantity. I guess time will tell.

i don't think it's been said whether or not the solids are more rare than the clears. i personally like the clears better.

I've heard the "rare" ones seem to be the clear purple and the light pink. This matches the prices I've been seeing on Ebay. Not sure if the same holds true at WDW.

I believe the Soli Ones are worth more becuase they typically match the set with the same Vinyl Finish. The Clear are alright, but they don't give the same look as the solid ones.

According to the Vinylmation vault page (http://eventservices.disney.go.com/static/vinylmation/animation.html) the hot pink clear chaser is the regular chaser. The other three elephants are variants of that chaser. I am unsure as to what the proportions are in terms of availability. But because the solids are considered variants that should make them more rare which then would make them worth more...theoretically.

as stated above, clear pink is the chaser, others are rarer variants. The clear purple seems to be the priciest.

I think its interesting that the clear pink is not a rarer one than the solid, but oh well. I'm hoping to pull one eventually, just which one will it be?!

Clear purple seems to go for the most on ebay...so that is probably the rarest. Clear pink sells the cheapest.

Yes the solids goes for about $50 or $60 on eBay.

I have both Clears plus an extra Light Pink Clear.... I had the Dark Pink Solid but that went bye bye... I'm on a quest for all of them

just came back from going to the mall and a buddy of mine bought a box, there were only 4 boxes left. so the box she bought happened to be the clear pink. lucky!!

Very nice..... I just came back from 2 malls that had 16 in one box and 8 in another. I'm not a gambling man unless its a full tray due to the fact that I have terrible luck with blind boxing when not a full tray, so having said thagt I didn't buy anything. I'll keep checking back

I've pulled Clear Pink and Solid Pink. My girlfriend, on the other hand, has pulled two Clear Purples. So by our score at least, Light Pink is the catch. Who really knows though. I normally hate variants but for some reason, I just want all of these so badly.

The clear purple can be had for $80 and under now. The solid light pink is a bit tough to find, but still for around $85-$90.
