That's cool - thought I might not see it on my trip at the end of October. Thanks!

 They really need to refurbish The Great Movie Ride. Out of everything in the Parks, that's the one thing I believe needs it the most.

I wish they would refurb and add some new scenes onto The Great Movie Ride too.

The whole thing really needs to be redone.
Have you looked at the animatronics lately? They really look -nothing- like who they're supposed to.
Plus, new scenes, new scripts, and new props during the line would be nice.

I take it that is when you are going?
I fear that ride a bit now, my hubs has a dizzy fetish it seems. He spins to the point that I am pretty sure we go BACK in time at least a few minutes.

I can't take the spinning either. When we ride it I tell Sledge to let the cup spin naturally. I don't need all the extra spinning. If he wants to spin then I get in my own cup.

Nope...that was strictly sarcasm.
I've only been on the teacups once that I can remember. HT_NSU and I were there in Sept 2007 and decided to take a whirl while our spouses wussed out on the side. They began talking with Alice and The Mad Hatter and then we got to ride at the same time they were. Then we spoke a little before they did a meet & greet with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Hey Teacups can be fun, minus the vomit-inducing spinning. I mean, I seriously thought he might break the darn thing! Felt nauseous for like a half hour after that. Jerk

Haha Sledge and I rode in a teacup with Alice once. It was fun... and awkward.

I just remember getting off of the ride and having the Mad Hatter point to us and say "There's another one, and another one." Turns out he was referring to our LSU and Saints shirts. apparently Alice had a "friend" who is from our area.

It was, but remember she wouldn't say it was her, she kept saying "friend" to stay in character. Plus I thought it was easier to say "our area" than try to explain where Houma is.

Alright $10 to whoever dresses up like Alice or the Mad Hatter for Halloween and jumps into a random family's tea cup for a ride!

Disney is very strict with people wearing costumes that look too close to their actual characters. However each year there are always really cool costumes. Last year there was a couple dressed like a hitchhiking ghost and the bride. They looked really great. People were taking pictures with them. There was also a guy dressed from head to toe as Jack Skellington. He even had the mask. I'm sure an employee must have told him to take it off eventually. I mean, it literally looked like an official Disney costume.

Not sure if this is sarcastic or not with you.
But it's one of my son's favs. We never want to wait in the line for Dumbo so we go to Adventureland. Guess eventually we won't be able to though with the Fantasyland refurb :/
