Hello Everyone,
So there are A LOT of new series/event vinyls/9" inch vinyls coming out in the upcoming months.
Which ones are you the most excited about?
As a series, I am super excited for the Park Four Series and the Holidays Around the World vinyl

Park #5 and Muppets #2 are the two series I am most looking forward to. Space Mountain's 35th is probably the single figure I am most excited for.
Muppets! As for single one probably the Cinderella 60th.

I think I'm going to "try" and limit my collecting to the Cutesters, Muppets, any figure that is a Disney Character or Ride, and the Cast Exclusives( so pretty much excluding most of the clear, Urbans and Holiday).....I have a long way to go!!
I think I'm looking forward to the Cutesters the most.......:yum:

While there is soooo many great designs coming, I'd have to say my personal favorites are Park Series 5, 3" Goofy and Pin Trading 9"/3" Combo! Such a clever concept to make the reverse side look like the back of the pin!!

As for series, I'm excited about the Star Wars series, with the Toy Story series as a runner up.
I'm really looking forward to the Wall-E/Eve set that's supposed to come in a special container that looks like Wall-E's lunchbox.
The 9" that I'm looking forward too most is the Sulley & Boo combo. Also the AP Exclusives because finally there's something I can look forward to as an AP holder. The Parrot from Pirates is the one I'm looking forward to the most from that one.

From what I recall, they had drafts of 3CPO, R2D2, Yoda, and I believe a Storm Trooper, maybe a Boba Fett (but that could've been a 9".) There were blank ones with captions underneath for Luke and Leah meaning there weren't designs for them yet. That's all I remember off the top of my head.

I think the series I'm most looking forward to (that I've seen more than just the concept art for) is the Cutester's. I really like the looks of Park 4 in general, but I'll wait until I've seen more than just the mock-ups (because we all know how far from reality they can be sometimes).
The biggest duo I'm looking forward to is Wall-E & Eve.
It's a tie between Sully & Boo or the Pin Trader Anniversary for best 9" & 3" combo.

Since a lot of what we saw that night was concept art, I am really excited to see the actual proto types. Toy Story sounds like a lot of fun. Star Wars will really be based on how they actually do turn out. I like the idea of Rex from Star Tours. The Disneyland ones were looking to be some sharp vinyls - Ticket booklet, Posters and the Mickey Mouse Club sets were all looking to be must haves. Nightmare Before Christmas will be a popular set - I liked the 9"/3" Santa Jack & Elf combo, and the 9" Glow In the Dark Oogie Boogie.

I think this idea is really interesting and opens the door for all sorts of interesting "add-ons" to the vinyls. I enjoy the way the art looks when everything's actually "painted" on but if they start coming out holding items or having things like helmets, that would be very cool.

Accessories to go with the figures would be awesome. It opens up so much more creativity.
I collect Dunnys too and I have to say that the ones with accessories and such are definitely some of my faves, so it'd be cool for vinylmation to do that too.

Eh, I personally am not a fan of the accessories. I say work them into the design of the figure. I definitely won't be getting any accessories unless they're included with the figures already.
I love how they're going to a Toy Story series and others like that...but it just reaffirms my belief that any characters included in the Park Series need to be much more strongly connected to the actual attraction - which the Little Green Men and Mike Mouse aren't IMHO.

That's definitely what I was thinking - like give one of the Star Wars figures a light saber. (Haha, that just made me think, wouldn't it be funny if Darth's helmet came off??)

I like Mike Mouse too. He's great....but that could have just as well been in a Pixar series. Illustrate him with a mic stand in front of him or something. Make a connection between the figure and the attraction!

True, but who knows if at the time they created him they knew there was going to be a Pixar series.
But yea, that would make more sense. Although considering most of the popular pixar characters, I'm not necessarily a fan, I'm glad they put Mike Mouse in a Park series since more than likely I'm not going to buy the pixar series.

I finally got my Holiday vinyls! Those were the ones I was most stoked about! But now I really want so many more. I want the entire Toy Story collection, as well as the Condiments because I just think that is cute and funny. I have favorites from the upcoming Park and Urban Series I'm looking forward to, but will probably not buy a whole set of those. I also really would like to have a whole collection of Star Wars, Nightmare Before Christmas, 2 of my favorite movies! I will have to see the Steampunk and Big Eyes before I make a choice about them. And I would really like the Disneyland Poster collection (minus the Disneyland one since I live in GA and frequently visit Disney World)
Such great ideas! I just can't wait!!! Even if I don't renew my annual pass for 2010, I'm happy I have this site so that I can communicate with others to fulfill my requests.
I just want to take a minute to thank everyone who I have traded or bought from. You guys are the best!!!
