Don't know if anyone collects the Disney Precious Moments figurines (or PMs in general), but thought I'd let you all know quite a few of them have been dumped at Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Average start price is $16.99.
I personally have seen these sculpts (don't know the names, so forgive me):
Snow White pulling a wagon with Dopey and critters
Snow White decorating a Christmas tree
Snow White on a chair accepting a rose from the Prince
Ariel on the beach with Flounder and Sebastian
Belle with Mrs. Potts and Chip
Boy hugging Baloo
Boy or girl (can't recall) with Roo in an umbrella
Girl decorating a Christmas tree with Jiminy Cricket at the top and Pinocchio underneath it
Girl holding a basket of Dalmatians
Boy and Girl Mouseketeers (this was $20.99, I believe)
I'm probably forgetting a few, but that's all I can remember. They also have some non-Disney PMs, but it's mostly the Disney versions that were dumped. Some are cuter than others. PMs are not my thing, but sculpts like the girl with Jiminy and Pinocchio are, I begrudgingly admit, utterly adorable.
They also had some of the LE Porcelain Disney figures at the ones here in the Cincinnati area. They come in a blue box with a COA - not sure what they are called as I don't have room to collect them. I do have a few Jim Shore Christmas ones that I love.

They are selling also WDCC on the stores . Looks like Disney is letting alot of the over stock in different collectables go...

mas, are they more of a teal greenish color boxes? If so, those would be WDCC pieces. Did you happen to see what figurines they had? mickeyfan, what have you noticed, if any?
Appreciate both of you confirming that. I saw a couple WDCC IASW ornaments (which I am trying to collect) in one store, but thought it might have been left over from the November-January 2009/2010 dump since none of the other 8 or so stores I visited or called had any. Guess not! So much for "a one time drastic measure."
Stuff like this is why I never believe Disney will destroy anything, even if they say so. WDCC pieces used to be destroyed if they had an overstock. Now they get dumped at discount chains. :look: I'd rather they not be destroyed actually, but that tends to happen at these stores anyway. So much is so easily broken there.
The prices are good though, particularly if you are like me and can't afford but 1 a year anywhere near retail. I have an Elastigirl sculpt (retail $150) sitting in my curio right now from April that cost me $9, among others. The Old Mill for $15 (NLE; retail $150) and The Ugly Duckling for $12 (retail $199) were among my finer gets this year at Marshalls and TJMaxx. I'm not familiar with PM retail prices, but I assume those are nice discounts as well.
They sell them at Hallmark, and while I'm not fully in love with some of them, I really love the Minnie and Mickey marriage ones. I want to make a top hat based on that design! <3

I too would like to hear about any updates on more WDCC pieces being brought in. That was absolutely great to be able to get those pieces which I would never be able to afford normally at such deep discounts. I'll have to take a ride to my local Marshalls to see about these pieces, although I am a little scared simply because they last thing I need is something else to start collecting.

Those PM prices are great! They can get really expensive because I can only collect certain favorite ones because can't afford them all. I hope my Marshalls/TJMaxx has a few so I can see what is available. But usually these ones are not the popular PMs so I'm guessing that's why they are there but I could be wrong.

I might have to run by one and see if they still have some. I don't really care for PM, but the sound cute!

I am back from my Christmas "vacation" visiting relatives, and I saw some more pieces. Some were non-Disney, again, but I couldn't tell you what they were. Here are the new Disney ones I saw:
Girl holding Eeyore
A boy (?) reading a book in a chair with Piglet and Pooh
Girl with the White Rabbit from AIW
Jasmine with a cat
Girl with Bambi
Girl with Dumbo
And if you are in need of a wedding cake topper, I spotted the humongous (and heavy! :yikes: ) Cinderella/Prince Charming topper. Retail is $200; Marshall's regular price was $39.99.
Here are some links to these pieces on the Disney Store and Official PM websites, so you can see what they look like. Everything I've seen was $16.99, except for the topper and the Mouseketeer set. Grouped by movie:

I am miffed with myself now because I got snookered in to yet another collectible line. We now own 7 of these things. 1 101 Dalmations, 1 Aladdin, 1 Little Mermaid, 1 B&TB, 1 Jungle Book, 1 Snow White (the one with Dopey), and 1 Pinocchio. And I want to go back and get Eeyore, if I can remember where I saw him. :-X
OT, but: Epcot2000, great to see you here! (We helped each other out by trading some IASW, Donald WDCC pieces earlier this year! )
