Nope! They just did what they did with the Snowman, put them up as a place holder! I have a feeling they will be out on Friday with the release! :)

True, but since Prancer might show up online soon, I think it's fine to have this thread in place to keep people updated about when it will show up online :)

It will be released at both D-Streets (California and Florida) and seems to be released online too! :)

It is not an online exclusive. It will be at D-Street on Friday, yes, and it also looks like it will show up online at some point.

Woohoo!!!! I'll take my chances at DStreet. I dont mean to sound negative but the last 2 Disneystore.com orders for me were horrible. The first one they lost and the second one they sent the wrong stuff. :doh:

I'm thinking that they will wait a few days to see how many sell at D-Street in both Florida and California....then sell what/ if any is left on DS.com.....

Any thoughts on that?

I hope that is the case. I will be checking every day. However the Halloween ones never made it online so I tend to think it will be the same here.

Usually the release of the vinyl at WDW or DLR and online is always different. It is rare that they get released online and at D Street on the same day. More then likely we could see Prancer online next week at the earliest.

They normally keep them at d-street for a week before releasing them elsewhere. Keep an eye on the blog. I'm sure they'll make some sort of announcement there.

I can't even find the Prancer page on DS.com...that used to show "sold out". Looks like it's been taken down.

Glad I checked! Saw the Snowglobe back again as well so I got to order that one too. Very happy shopping night here. If only they miraculously had a 9" Oogie Boogie for me my holiday collection would be perfect. Pushing my luck? I suppose. :)

I noticed it was there this morning too, but it says "the product you have selected is not available for purchase at this time"

I also noticed that the Sorcerer Mickey & Tonal Mickey combo packs were both gone from the site! They were there last night at 11:00pm when I was placing an order (but they were sold out before I finished my order & were taken off my order by the website!)

I bet they are planning to release a ton of stuff on either Thanksgiving day or Black Friday...maybe even "cyber Monday" since those are the "big shopping days."

On a different note (but slightly related) I couldn't believe the amount of people out everywhere yesterday! I figured today there would be lots of shoppers...people waiting to the last minute to get their Thanksgiving turkey & food for Thursday along with people who didn't have work/school today. But yesterday was completely insane everywhere I went!

Anyway, just keep checking the site guys! I bet there will be a big release tomorrow or Friday! :-)

yeah...i just went over to the site, saw him listed on the VM page, and it let me add it to my cart and put my shipping info in. when i hit the 'continue' button at that point, i got the message that the item was no longer available. doh!

who thinks that this will be a repeat of what happened with the 9/3 snowglobe, and more prancers will show up on the site within the next few days?

for what it's worth, when i try to add prancer to my cart, the message says "The item you selected cannot be purchased at this time"...but if i try to add the Urban 5 combo pack to my cart, it actually says "Sold Out".

i am pretty bummed i missed out on prancer .. but i did finally get my snowman 9"! yay! i was pretty stoked i was able to get a new disney dooney & bourke balloon handbag, vinylmation urban 5 combo pack, snowman 9" vinylmation, and a few holiday ornaments with my 15% off code for my disney visa! :) :)

I actually think Prancer may not appear on the website again. This is different than the snowglobe because the snowglobe was a Disney Store exclusive. Pancer was at both d-street stores, and is probably heading to other stores around the parks as well.

Does that mean to stop checking their website? No, after the vm team's posting on the blog that the snowglobe was sold out, it shows there is some confusion on their part.
