Dont you smell after riding that thing? That's what I've heard.

I really don't think that the chili dog smell is that bad. The only main problem with it is how it fits into the ride's storyline. Obviously there is no way that someone could be sitting inside of the ride eating a chili dog as no food is allowed and with the cast member sitting inside they would certainly get caught.

To be honest I really don't think that SGE is so terrible. I mean, yeah it's not anywhere close to the quality of Alien Encounter but for what it is it's ok. It's there to attract young kids and it attracts a lot of them. My only main problem is I think that Stitch could have been used better in a really cool dark ride elsewhere.

Yeah....but most people also smell going in and during the show too.

Stitch's Great Escape does not in any way feel magical. I can understand why Disney decided to creat a Stich ride but to replace Alien Encounter with this? Whenever I walk by it there isn't any sort of line at all. Maybe people are expressing there opinions by skipping this attraction while at Magic Kingdom?

Sadly, I think I do have to agree. I would probably be just as irate about it as most people. But why did it take so long to get them off the ride? It's made almost like an elevated pathway. It shouldn't have been that hard to evacuate the ride.

Sorry...but we went there during our September 2007 trip because none of us remember going....let's just say I don't have to go back again unless so major event is happenning out there or they do a major overhaul/overlay.

But I agree, more people should go out to it....that leaves less people in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain!

Well, they just redid SM and how does COP need an overhaul?

COP just seems a bit dated in it's presentation and all.. It's basically the same as it was 30 years ago outside of the current section.
SM for me is nothing more than a jerky rollercoaster ride in the dark.. Boring! IMO. If there were 3d images of planets and celestial objects as you go, then it would be much better..

There's a reason why it's the same as it was when it first started. The past hasnt changed...so why does it need to be updated. And 3D doesnt make everything better. Have you been on SM since it was redone?

Dude, I was at disney 2 weeks ago and rode SM... COP is ok, but IMO (in my opinion!) the way it's presented needs to be updated, not talking about changing the past! That's all. I'm 44 and COP was the same 30 years ago with the exception of updating the last section, of course.. I think there could be a better way to showcase it nowadays without changing the basic content or info....

One, I'm a girl so do not call me dude. And two how was I to know you were just there? You never said that. I cant read minds. I was just asking a flippin' question (which you didnt answer the first time I asked)

And I know what IMO means. You dont have to talk to me like I'm stupid. You're coming off extremely rude. Just was curious as to WHY you thought that.

Well, you came off a bit rude to me first just because i noted why it was my least favorite.. I emphasized IMO to indicate it's just an opinion. I would imagine that if you had seen COP a few times over the course of 20 years, you would see my point. Sorry i called you dude.. Nothing personal!

No, I was just wondering what you meant by that. As in to elaborate passed just saying it needed an overhaul. Like how and such? And I have seen it quite a few times over 20years so no I dont really see your point.

I love seeing everyone's replies and reasons for loving/not loving a ride....

My favorites are numerous, but....
Pirates of the Caribbean, Tomorrow Transit Authority (for it's People-mover likeness), and Haunted Mansion.

Least likely to wait in a long line for:
Stitch, Monsters Inc., Tiki room- under new management (Don't fix it if it's not broken! The original will always win!)

I do have to say though, I know this is a WDW Magic Kingdom post, but it will always fall a little short for me. I grew up in So Cal, and I know Disneyland better than the city I live in. I can find a bathroom without a map...The layout of the Magic Kingdom in Florida always throws me off, and there's no New Orleans Square, or Matterhorn.

Splash Mountain is an all time favorite for us, such memories as a child. Also loved Mr. Toad and was so sad when it left. However I just rode it as an adult for the first time at Disneyland and it kinda lost its allure to me. Hate Stitch but its has gotten fun because if we ride it we are laughing so much at how stupid it is.

Fave: Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan's Flight--The first as an adult (terrified as a kid) and the second for my childhood

Hate: I can't think of a single attraction I have gone on that I have hated consistently as a kid and an adult. I guess I'll say Stitch's Great Escape, even though I have never gone on the attraction purely because Stitch is my favorite character, and I can't bear to see him defamed like that. I wish Disney would come up with a really great attraction for Stitch--a lot of people still really like him, and he has so much potential!
