post count stuck?

Hello!
so this may be a silly question but I noticed last night that my post count had stayed at 35 for the entire day-even after posting and its still there today after some posts... is this normal or is my counter stuck? :-X

Not every section of the forum counts toward your total posts.
Sections like CYO, Welcome, Trade/Sell and the Game section do not add to your total count.

Maybe the staff might need to make a thread that says what threads count toward your post count and what threads do not count towards there post :rofl:

Problem is those sections would be neglected :(

I agree with Qsk50. The people looking to spam and get into the trade section will just use that information and spam other parts of the board. :(

Your post count will rise quicker than you know it! Sometimes I look at mine and wonder how it got that high :lol:

So. Just to ask. Because I have often thought about it.
Why do some parts of the forum NOT count towards post count? Maybe a stupid qusetion. But it is something that I never understood.

Please, people who spam that area, consider this:

An artist puts a lot of time and energy in their work. They would like to have some honest feedback on their art. Yes, sometimes a simple "amazing!" is all they need to hear from a friend. But when they see that you've done nothing but spam theirs and a bunch of other artist's threads, how do you think that makes them feel??? That you really appreciated their work? Honestly, when you don't even know which movie the custom is from even tho it was brought out hundreds of time in the thread before does that show the artist you are really giving honest feedback? Or are you just abusing their thread so that you can go and trade your chasers??


Look, I may not have made a custom vinyl yet, but I can look at it from my standpoint as a writer. And if someone was just using my book for their own selfish gains, and didn't even care about my actual piece of work, I would be angry. I feel bad for the artists here who deserve better. :nono:


So, please, Do not spam the site It's not a way to gain any respect here, and it really just does the opposite.

I imagine it's reasons like the above that lead to the turning off of post count in areas like CYO, Welcome and Collector's Showcase. Games is obvious :lol:
