We're heading to MK today to celebrate my birthday.

I've only been once before-- what are the "must dos"? :)

ONE TIME????????????????

Must dos are all. everything. haha

Haunted Mansion, POTC, Jungle Cruise. Space Mountain, Splash, Buzz, Big Thunder, Peter Pan, Mickey's Philharmagic.

But my favorite thing, is kinda corny. I love people watching on Main St. I love to see that look in a kid's face who is so excited to get to the Magic Kingdom for the first time. You can tell who they are as they smile with mouth agape in anticipation. Beyond that, I love ithe atmosphere. The place makes me happy.

Happy Birthday Melissa. My favorites are Big Thunder Mountain and of course POTC. But, my very favorite is Monsters Inc. - Laughs Inc. - Mike is so great.

I like to do the people watching thing too - anywhere in the park when we're sitting to take a rest.

Have a great time!!:happy::happy::happy:

You must catch the Electric Parade - it's back just for a short time and is fantastic! Also be sure to get a good seat for the fireworks. Not too close to the castle, somewhere just a little ways back so you can see everything!
Happy Birthday!!

I think we're people watching most of the trip. Definitely do Monsters Inc. One of my favorites is the WED way people mover. Don't miss out on the Haunted Mansion or Big Thunder Railroad. I love riding Big Thunder at night. If you time things right, it gives great views to the fireworks, along with Splash Mountain. Happy Birthday and have fun.

Riding Splash Mountain during the fireworks is awesome. You can see the fireworks from the ride and no one else is on it. I never miss the chance.

Umm.... Melissa.... Picking up some vinyls for me :)

Seriously. If possible spend the money and do the Disney Dreams Dessert Party for the fireworks. Call WDW-Dine and see if they are running it the day you go.

Oh and have a happy birthday

I was in search of a Dole Whip, but broke down and had a rootbeer float. Found the Dole Whips about 30 minutes later. I'll be sure to have one next time!

Happy Birthday!!

Our next trip to MK will be later in the day so we can be there at night for the Electric Parade and the fireworks. The Bear (my 3-yo) just couldn't take anymore after 6 hours. He spent the last 2 hours asking when we were going home. :yikes:

You actually texted in a joke? I've never known anyone to do that. I love that show even though I've seen it a bunch of times. I was picked to talk to the "monsters" the first time I did it at grad night  that was certainly interesting.

So glad you enjoyed the Monsters, Inc. It's really great that they actually used one of your jokes. I've often wondered whether they really used jokes from the crowd or just made up their own using a random name. We always try to do this one at least twice on every trip.
