Special World of Color shows for AP holders

We’ve added two performances of “World of Color,” just for annual passholders this week. Annual passholders have a unique opportunity to see the nighttime water spectacular at Disney California Adventure park at 9:15 p.m. on September 15 and 16. Guests who are not annual passholders can still see the regularly scheduled show at 8:15 p.m. on both nights.
We heard from a lot of annual passholders that it’s difficult to visit the Park in the mornings and obtain a Disney FASTPASS ticket, so this is a special opportunity just for annual passholders.
Here are the details:
Disney FASTPASS ticket distribution will begin at 5 p.m. at the Grizzly River Run FASTPASS location.
A valid Annual Passport must be presented to obtain a Disney FASTPASS ticket.
Disney FASTPASS tickets are limited and are subject to availability.
Annual passholders with a Disney FASTPASS ticket need to be in Disney California Adventure park prior to park close at 8:00 p.m. on the day of show and will need to queue beginning at 8:45 p.m.
In addition to a special showing of “World of Color,” passholders will have the following attractions available to them from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.:
Soarin’ Over California
Mulholland’s Madness
Flik’s Fun Fair
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Annual Passholders without a FASTPASS ticket will be accommodated if space is still available in the alternate viewing area.

I'm from nor cal but I just so happen to be going to DLR the 16th-20th :) I'll actually be able to make it! Are the 8-845 rides only open to passholders? is that the deal? Cause that would be sweet :)

i like the idea of a passholder exclusive show. it give regular guest a chance at the first show and us Disney AP holders a chance to go after work to relax in the Parks.

I heard from my friend the line was crazy! The line at 4:30 extended into the Sunshine Plaza! Most of the rides weren't too bad, just the fastpass distribution was bad, like always! :rofl:

Wow really, and that's at 430... so by the time we get our fastpass, it's pretty much time to line up to watch the show already!

Nah it shouldn't take longer than an hour and the park closes at 8 to regular guest but ap's have it til after World of Color is done! :)

It was busy but not crazy busy. I lined up for fastpasses about 5 min. before 5pm and my place in line was just a little bit down from the entrance to Grand CA. I was a bit surprise that we were given the blue section.

At the time we were lining up (8:35) to get in, the blue section had already stretched to the waterfall (photo area) close to sunshine plaza. All the sections seemed to be filled up. Which lead me to think if this was exclusively for AP only. Referring back to where we were in line to get the FP and the section we got.

We made sure to line up extra early by the Winery around 7pm... so we were pretty much in the front of the line for Blue section. When they opened, I was happy to nab a prime viewing spot. I didn't think it was that busy compared to "normal" days in the summer.

I heard from a fellow vn member who went that Thursday was not as bad as Wednesday! :lol:
