Are Zoobles this years Zhu Zhu pets?

These are the cutest things. They are little pets that 'Spring to Life' when you play with them. They are the girl version of Bakugan. They have a magnet in side that when activated spring open. Each pet comes with a little home called a Happitat. I believe that there will be an interactive website ala Webkins maybe. Or at least that is what I heard.

My daughter has a few of these and she just loves them. Kind of like Littlest Pets Shops. Just giving you guys the early Christmas heads up

These things are so cute. My niece has some and I was playing with them. I know they are aimed at girls but my nephew was happy to play with them too. From what I can tell, they are definitely going to be the hot item this year. Lots of reports all over the internet of them being sold out. Personally, I am going to start making regular trips to Wal-Mart and Target and try to stock up for Christmas. There are already tons of them on eBay and Amazon still going for the regular price as well.

The commercials are misleading though, because of the popularity of Zhu Zhu pets kids think that these things move on their own, and they don't... they really just sit there. Cute though.

Did you know Zhu Zhu pets were first marketed as GoGoPets? I have a couple of "original" GoGoPets stuff that I didn't even realize was the same as Zhu Zhu until last Christmas.

They're still marketed as GoGo pets in the UK. I picked up 2 for my cats for xmas. They love chasing them :)

i haven't seen these yet on TV I wonder if they havn't hit the east coast yet, or your just a target reseach area? But thanks for the heads up and it's nice to see that at least thay have over a 100 different ones so they won't be as hard to get as the Zhu Zhu's were they were Almost as bad as the cabbage patch kids were I don't think anything will EVER be as bad as they were back in the 70's that was the worst thing EVER, parents sleeping out in downtown Detroit 1 week ahead and someone got knived over a doll now that was nuts. Back when they still had Hudson's.
